I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” (Psalm 104:33)

We all know how important it is to practice. We practice music, we practice sports, we practice job skills, we teach our kids to practice being nice to their siblings….Practice enables us to become so good at something that it is second nature, and we don’t have to think about it. Do you realize that it’s also important to practice worshiping?

When you’re driving in the car, listening to your Christian music, worship God through the music. Each time you pray to Him, start by thanking Him for who He is and basking in awe of His greatness. When you feel the sunshine or see the mountains or breathe the fresh air, worship God for all He has created. Then when you come to church on Sunday, it will be second-nature for you to worship God as we sing to Him and praise His name. You won’t be concerned about what others are thinking, or what you look like or sound like – you will just be worshiping. So don’t just worship God all the days of your life, worship Him every day of your life!

In Christ, Amy Smith
